This Privacy Policy explains how Ahavas Yisroel Inc. ("Reb Yakov Moshe", "RYM", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information about you when you use rebyakovmoshe.com and its related services (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, phone number and a password (stored in hashed form) when you register or sign in.
Purchases and donations: the courses you subscribe to and donations you make. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage information: the lessons you watch, forum posts and comments you write, and technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and cookies needed for the Site to work (for example, to keep you signed in).
Messages you send us: the contents of contact forms, emails and support requests.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, sign you in and verify that you own the phone number or email address you gave us.
To deliver the courses, lessons, forums and other content you asked for, and to process subscriptions and donations.
To answer your questions and provide support.
To send service notices about your account (for example, a verification code, a receipt or a change to these terms).
To send newsletters or announcements about new lessons, if you have signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
To protect the Site against fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.

3. Text messages (SMS) and phone calls

When you enter your phone number to register, sign in or reset your password and request a verification code, you agree to receive a one-time verification code from Reb Yakov Moshe by text message (SMS) or by an automated phone call to that number. This is a verification program only; we do not send marketing text messages.

Message frequency: one message per verification request. Message frequency varies with how often you sign in or reset your password.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to cancel and you will receive one final confirmation message. After that you will not receive text messages from us; you may still request a verification code by phone call or by email.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described in section 4 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. How we share information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:

with service providers who work on our behalf and only as needed to run the Site: web hosting, payment processing, email delivery and the telecommunications provider that delivers our verification codes. They may use your information only to provide those services to us;
when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Reb Yakov Moshe, our users or the public;
with your consent, or at your direction.

Your mobile phone number and your text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared, sold or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable time afterwards to comply with legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Verification codes expire shortly after they are issued and are then discarded.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can update your name, email address and password from your account page.
You can unsubscribe from newsletters with the link in every email.
You can stop text messages by replying STOP (see section 3).
You can ask us to correct or delete your account by emailing info@rebyakovmoshe.com.

8. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
